Chatty’s Indian Spices

A past client of the Food Centre, Chatty’s Indian Spices was a family operation, owned and operated by Chatty and P.K. Chattopadhyay of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.  They manufactured a unique blend of East Indian gourmet spices, chutneys and sauces.  They started their test marketing in Saskatoon in 1995 with their distinctive spice line, namely their Chicken Curry, Calcutta and Tandoori BBQ. These blends are a fast and simple way to complete a meal and takes away the tedious task of grocery shopping to prepare the many spices and flavours that are required in most East Indian dishes.

In extending their product line, the Food Centre assisted Chatty’s with product development and manufacturing to introduce new products into the market.  As one the initial clients of the Food Centre, Chatty’s is like family, making their market success extra special.

NOTE:  Chatty’s Indian Spices are no longer in business.  Chatty and P.K. are enjoying their retirement after many years of running a successful food processing business.
